About

The beautiful 4 Mile Reef is full of life! With a depth of 15-20m this dive site is filled with everything from large corals and playful marine life to tiny nudibranchs waiting to be discovered.

Schedule

Due to the location of the 4 Mile Reef the dive site is best first thing in the morning, but trust us, the early start is worth it!

  • 7.45am - Meet your friendly dive guide at Swan Dive - located on the Eastern side of the Busselton Jetty on the Foreshore. Here you will be provided any dive equipment required and can get dressed into your wetsuit.
  • The rest of your dive gear will be loaded into the boat ready for you to step onboard and enjoy a short cruise past the iconic Busselton Jetty and through Geographe Bay.
  • Once you arrive your dive guide will provide a briefing of the dive site and what you can expect to see. They will be with you every step of the way, so no need to worry about navigation - All you have to do is relax and enjoy the incredible surrounds as your guide helps you find some of the hidden gems of the reef.
  • 9.30am - Return to Swan Dive on the Busselton Foreshore

Requirements

• Divers must be certified Open Water or higher to participate in this dive. • Junior Open Water certified divers must be accompanied by a certified parent or guardian. • Divers must have dived within the previous 12 months. • DSMB and reel is required to be carried by each diver • We ask all divers to arrive promptly at the tour start time to allow our boat to depart on schedule.

Divers must present their Open Water certification to join; Junior Open Water divers require an accompanying certified adult.

Arrive Early for Check-In

Meet at Swan Dive promptly at 7:45 AM to complete gear fitting and briefing for a timely boat departure.

Carry a DSMB and Reel

Surface Marker Buoy and reel are required safety gear to be brought by each diver for this site.

Protect Yourself Against the Sun

Even early mornings can have strong sun; bring waterproof sunscreen, a hat, and a towel for after the dive.
