This tour is essential for anyone who really wants to get out and really experience San Diego. It takes the best parts of our Downtown, Balboa and Old Town tours, and gives you plenty of time to do all three tours, while also stopping and really checking out the sights of San Diego. You will have more than enough time to park the car and tour the Maritime Museum and check out all of the ships, navigate through the unique Horton Plaza mall, and the Gaslamp Quarter to see all the sights of Downtown. From there you can peruse around Balboa park on foot and really take in the sights and sounds of Balboa and even go to one of the many museums that are always open, and stop to smell the roses in our Rose Garden with over 800 different varieties of roses. Lastly you can have a quick bite to eat some authentic Mexican food in Old Town after walking through many of San Diego’s historic buildings, including the original home of the San Diego Union Tribune, but don’t forget to go visit San Diego’s most spooky location, the Whaley House which is officially noted as “America’s Most Haunted House”. All along this tour are many great spots to stop and take pictures, eat, drink, relax and truly experience why San Diego truly is America’s Finest City.

Conditions

  • GoCars hold a maximum of 2 people. Prices are per GoCar, not per person.
  • Must be 21 years or older to rent. Must possess a major credit card and valid driver’s license (international license is not necessary). GoCars do not accommodate car seats for children.
  • On the day of rental, a security deposit will be held on your credit card until the GoCar is returned. All riders must sign a standard participant agreement. Renters will have the option to purchase Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) insurance on the day of rental.
  • Renters are free to extend the length of their tour on the day of rental. Additional rental time will be charged in 15-minute increments.
  • Cars must be returned to rental location before dusk.
