Our daily whale watch trips are 3.5 to 4 hours in duration. (Trips are weather permitting.)
We travel to different locations within Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary to view whales and dolphins throughout the year.
Our crew will show you how to spot whales and dolphins as well as give you information on the wildlife and latest scientific information.
The morning trip is the most highly advised departure of the day. Monterey can experience afternoon wind patterns, making the morning trip typically the calmest sea conditions of the day.
Our vessels are licensed for beer and wine sales on board and our shop is licensed for beer sales. Therefore, guests are not allowed to bring their own alcoholic beverages on the trips. We do have beer for sale everyday in store and beer and wine on the vessels for sale to individuals 21 years of age and older in accordance with the California Alcoholic Beverage Control regulations.
