You step off the minivan at Marengo Beach and the air tastes of salt and eucalyptus; waves push and the cliffs loom like slow-moving machines sculpting the shore.

Good general fitness for consecutive days of walking over varied terrain; comfortable with 10–16km days and short climbs.
Daily walking varies: roughly 7km, 16km, 14km and 8.5km across mixed terrain—rated easy to moderate with some short steep sections.
Three nights’ accommodation in comfortable lodgings (Cape Otway Lightstation or Bimbi Park), breakfasts, lunches for four days, three dinners and snacks are included.
No technical experience required, but guests should have moderate fitness for consecutive days of walking and be comfortable on uneven coastal trails.
Pick-up and drop-off are provided from central Melbourne; on-tour transport between trailheads is by air-conditioned minivan included in the package.
The coast records both Indigenous custodianship and 19th-century maritime history; Cape Otway Lightstation is one of Australia’s oldest lighthouses guiding ships past hazardous reefs.
