You arrive by skiff through a cathedral of mangroves where the Sierpe River narrows and the water seems to push the boat forward with a mind of its own. Crocodiles glance from muddy banks, herons quarter the air and the high jungle behind Drake Bay presses like a living wall — this is the doorway to Corcovado and Caño Island.
