You push off from the roadside under a slate sky, pedals biting into peaty tracks as the mountain ridges of Torridon close in like old friends testing your resolve. The first afternoon’s descent drops you toward a hidden high camp by a loch; wind combs the water and the hills keep a slow, watchful pace.

Much of the route travels remote estate tracks and high ground—mobile signal is intermittent; carry a map, GPS device and inform the guide of any medical needs.
Breakfast (3), lunches (4), snacks and dinners (4) are included except breakfast on Day 1—special diets should be noted at booking.
Riders should be confident on technical singletrack and comfortable with hike-a-bike sections while managing loaded panniers.
Pick up from Grantown-on-Spey or Inverness is arranged, with vehicle transfers between segments as described in the itinerary.
The Torridon area preserves ancient geology and a crofting heritage; estate roads and bothies reflect generations of rural land use.
Ride established tracks where possible, camp on durable surfaces, and follow leave-no-trace to protect fragile peat and mountain vegetation.
