Reserve your date and time to challenge our five adventure courses. Family owned and operated, Carolina Treetop Challenge is like playing in a treehouse suspended dozens of feet off the ground. We are located just south of downtown Albemarle, North Carolina, near Morrow Mountain State Park on the west side of the Uwharrie National Forest.

Safety is our FIRST and MOST IMPORTANT RULE. All equipment and structures conform to state safety regulations and the guidelines established by the Association for Challenge Course Technology. Everyone participating is required to attend the safety demonstration by our trained instructors prior to starting the course. Carolina Treetop Challenge uses secure, expertly engineered structures, quality materials, and construction by TreeGo, an industry leader in outdoor climbing adventure parks. Our courses undergo continuous inspection, from the equipment to the trees.

4 Course Package Adventure Overview:

Courses:

  1. The GREEN Course at Carolina Treetop Challenge consists of beginner level obstacles placed in the canopy, from 10 feet to 20 feet above the ground. The zip line and physical challenges are rated for ages 10 and older. Each component of the treehouse style obstacle course is carefully designed to allow use by novices to the world of tree rope courses.

  2. The BLUE Course at Carolina Treetop Challenge consists of beginner and intermediate level obstacles at intervals of 10 feet off the ground to a higher 40 feet. The zip line and physical challenges are rated for ages 10 and older. The ropes course becomes more difficult as you progress. A combination of zip lines and obstacles will begin to test your resolve.

  3. The SILVER Course at Carolina Treetop Challenge begins with a climbing wall to change up the entrance. These physical challenges are rated for ages 10 and older. While it is a shorter course, the challenges begin to become a bit more daunting.

  4. The RED Course at Carolina Treetop Challenge is truly an intermediate to the advanced level course. Not only are the obstacles higher in the tree canopy, but they also test strength, endurance, and balance. While these challenges are rated for ages 10 and older, many find themselves proceeding at a slower but determined pace. Test yourself as you progress through the red course and always remember to breathe!
