About This Adventure

Swim with the manatees or just enjoy looking at them! On this tour, we seek out these gentle giants. You may get in the water and float with the manatees. Wetsuits (in cold weather), snorkels, masks, and noodles are provided.

This boat can get under the bridges and into the backwaters where the manatees live. This price is per person. Each boat is limited to 6 guests.

  • Semi-private tours priced per person!
  • Up to 6 guests per boat

Remember that Manatee Season runs from November 15th through April 15th during the cooler months of the year. During the Spring and Summer, there is less than a 50% chance of seeing manatees and we recommend early-morning tours for best results. Please keep your expectations realistic as although we are in charge of the fun, Mother Nature is in charge of the manatees!

About

This boat is perfect for swimming with manatees or enjoying a dolphin nature tour. Our location is simply beautiful. We are the closest tour boat to the springs and the Homosassa Nature Park which means you spend a lot less time getting ready and traveling and a lot more time enjoying your snorkel adventure! When you arrive, we will do everything we can to make your river adventure the best you have ever had. We can take you from the blue water of the springs all the way passed Monkey Island to see all the beautiful sights of the Homosassa River!

Please Note

Although we may see manatees any time of year, manatee season officially runs during colder weather from November 15th to April 15th. Please keep your expectations realistic as although we are in charge of the fun, Mother Nature is in charge of the manatees!

What to Bring

  • Swimsuit - If you are swimming, please come already dressed in your swimming suit so that it makes it easier and faster to get you suited up in your wetsuit and get underway.

  • Warm Clothes - Wear some loose-fitting clothes to go over your swimsuit to help keep you warm on the way during chilly mornings. This will also give you something to change back into after your trip.

  • Towel - Bring a towel for each person in your party.

  • Sunscreen and lip balm - You may want to bring some sunscreen and lip balm especially if you will be enjoying time out on the deck or in the water.

  • Snacks and drinks - Feel free to bring lunch, snacks, and drinks to enjoy on your adventure.

Because space is limited, we do ask that you only bring aboard the essentials that are necessary. Please inform us of any medical conditions, physical, or mental limitations that we need to be aware of. We keep this information confidential and never want to embarrass anyone. Our goal is to help keep everyone safe and have a great day on the water!
