Riding through wooded trails flanking Beaver Creek and through a meadow filled with vibrant (seasonal) wildflowers, gaining elevation as you climb wide, well maintained trails with partial views of Dirty Face Mountain and the North Cascades.

We have strict weight restrictions based on height to ensure safety and comfort of our guests and horses. (Please see our chart in frequently asked questions.) We reserve the right to check weight at check in.
Ride duration is 3 hours, but plan for an additional 20-30 minutes for waivers, helmets etc.
We hand pick a horse for each rider based on riding experience, height and weight prior to their ride.
When making plans or scheduling a taxi for after your ride, add 45 minutes beyond the listed duration of your ride. Example, 2 hour ride at 11:30 will not be back to the barn at 1:30, rather 2:00 - 2:15. This takes into account the time for waivers, safety talk/demonstration, saddle adjustments and pictures.

For riders wanting to go faster
Due to the increased safety risks and liability when going faster, everyone on the ride must be an experienced horseback rider. Experienced riders are: (at a minimum)

If everyone on the private ride falls into the advanced rider category and is physically fit, we do a short riding test for each rider to verify their skill level.
Plan to arrive at least 30 minutes before your ride for helmet fittings, safety briefing, and horse matching.
Temperatures can vary on trail elevations—wear moisture-wicking layers and pack a light jacket.
Sturdy boots with a heel are recommended for safety and comfort while riding and mounting.
This ride requires confident riders with prior horse control—beginners won’t be permitted.
