About This Adventure

Experience the thrill of ice fishing for Rainbow Trout in Whistler's stunning lakes. Enjoy a cozy, heated shelter while you fish, with the chance to catch impressive trout. This unique adventure combines beautiful scenery, tranquility, and the excitement of fishing, making it a memorable Canadian experience perfect for all skill levels.

Duration:

3 hours

Before booking

  • Minimum age requirement of 10 for all guests attending
  • We practice CATCH & RELEASE for all trips. Under no exceptions do we keep fish to bring home
  • Maximum group size of 8 but for groups of 5 - 8 you must call us to book. Please note, we only have 1 company vehicle and will shuttle your group to the lake in 2 trips. We firmly believe we can do this very efficiently because all the lakes we ice fish on are very close to town

Summary

We will be ice fishing for stocked Rainbow Trout on one of the local lakes right here in Whistler. The fish range between 8 & 14 inches in length but if you are lucky there is the "chance" of hooking an 18 + inch trout. This is a great experience for those new to ice fishing. I will set up a large tent-like ice fishing shelter which will have a heater inside to keep you nice and toasty. We also put you in a pair of insulated winter boots with ice cleats for warmth & safety. If it's a nice day you can move around the lake a lot more. This way, you can take in all the beautiful scenery the area has to offer which includes Whistler and Blackcomb mountain in the background. There is a good chance we will have the lake all to ourselves. It's the perfect getaway when you need a break from skiing and want some quiet time. This is truly a Canadian experience that you must cross off your bucket list
