The day begins on a high-speed train out of Chengdu as mountains press closer and the air thins — by evening you arrive under prayer flags and frost-tipped pines, ready to walk among water that refuses to be ordinary.

This is a self-guided package: private drivers handle transfers and logistics, but interpretive guiding in the parks is not provided.
Train ticket booking assistance may be provided but paid by the traveler; you are responsible for reserving hotels in Chengdu and Jiuzhaigou unless otherwise arranged.
Altitude effects are possible above ~2,500 m; ascend slowly, hydrate, avoid heavy exertion the first day, and consult a physician about prophylactic medication if prone to AMS.
