There’s no better way to explore the Delaware River than by canoe or kayak. Join Adventure Sports for an incredible three-day, two-night canoeing/kayaking and camping trip from Milford Beach to Smithfield Beach. You’ll travel 28 miles and camp for two nights along the river.

Begin at beautiful Milford Beach at the Milford Access Canoe Launch. Then it’s time to start paddling in one of the most scenic national areas in the eastern United States. Take in incredible views of the river banks and Pocono Mountains, as well as many points of interest along the way.

You’ll pass many campsites and riverside attractions, like ranger stations, recreation sites, and islands in the river. You briefly pass by Minisink Island, one of the largest in the Delaware River, and part of the Minisink Historic District, a renowned historical/archaeological area.

You can also be on the lookout for wildlife like bald eagles, bears, deer, and more. Camping by the river is sure to be a thrill for adventurers and a great way to relax and connect with the incredible nature that surrounds you.

Since this is a longer trip, it is recommended for more experienced kayakers and canoers who are comfortable with a longer trip and camping for two nights.
