The 4x4 grinds away from Marrakech at dawn, the Atlas Mountains shrinking behind you as the road gives way to exposed earth and scrub. After hours of switchbacks and river valleys, the landscape opens to the Draa’s palm groves and then to a sea of ochre dunes; Erg Chigaga doesn’t announce itself quietly—the sand pushes and shifts, daring you toward its ridge lines.

The tour departs from Marrakech with return to Marrakech at the end of the third day; specific pickup and drop-off points are arranged at booking.
The camel ride is short to moderate in difficulty; you sit in a saddle on the camel—no technical riding skill required—and there are options to walk on sand if preferred.
Accommodation is in a private luxury desert camp for one night with dinner and breakfast included; other nights are in standard hotels or riads per the itinerary.
Camps provide basic toilet facilities and water; the tour supplies one 1.5L bottle per person per day but bring extra if you need more for dune walks.
