Adventure Tips

Plan Fuel Costs in Advance

Fuel is not included with boat rentals, so budget accordingly to avoid surprises on your trip.

Wear Non-Slip Footwear

Boat decks can be slick; sturdy shoes with good grip ensure safe boarding and moving around.

Bring Water and Sunscreen

Tahoe’s high elevation means stronger sun exposure—stay hydrated and protected during your trip.

Respect Quiet Beaches

Many secluded coves have fragile ecosystems; keep noise and waste to a minimum to preserve them.
