This trip is a great overnight trip targeting a wide variety of species. We will target vermillion snapper, grouper and other reef species during the night and when morning comes we will chase shrimp boats for blackfin tuna or move deeper to target amberjack (when in season) or drift fish for kingfish and shark.

This trip scheduled departure time is 6pm to 6pm the next day.

Please arrive 30 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time and all parking for trips is located across the street in our paved lot behind the Stripes/Valero convenience store. If you have any questions please call us in advance at 361-749-5597.

Important Information:

  • No cancellations or refunds within 30 days of departure date.
  • ​Everyone 17 and older must have a valid Texas saltwater fishing license to cover both days of the trip. Please purchase these prior to your arrival or arrive 1 hour before your departure time if purchasing here! Fishing licenses are non-refundable.
  • You will need to bring your own food and drink on this trip. You are allowed a 48 qt. cooler for your food and drinks. No Glass! They will have a microwave and a small grill onboard for heating or cooking food.
  • Also bring a sleeping bag, pillow, bedroll, and blanket for your bunk. We also recommend a waterproof jacket, change of clothes and shoes as your feet may also get wet.
  • ​Rods, reel, bait, and some tackle are provided but you are welcome to bring your own gear.
  • Fish cleaning is available once you return and the fish house only accepts cash.
  • We have taxidermy mounting service available for your catch just inquire in the store.
  • Newly expanded clothing and souvenir store AS well as a Tackle shop for all your offshore or bay fishing needs.

Bring warm, waterproof layers

Temperatures can drop at sea overnight and decks may get wet—dress accordingly.

Purchase your Texas saltwater fishing license in advance

Licenses are required for those 17 and older and can take time to process.

Pack your own food and cooler

Bring a 48-quart non-glass cooler with your meals and drinks; onboard cooking amenities available.

Arrive early for check-in

Plan to arrive 30 minutes before departure at 440 W. Cotter Rd parking lot behind Stripes/Valero.
