Adventure Tips

Plan campsite reservations ahead

Popular Florida campgrounds fill quickly, especially in peak seasons, so book sites in advance to secure your spot.

Keep your fuel tank topped

With a full tank needed upon return, track your mileage to avoid last-minute stops at remote gas stations.

Pack insect repellent

Florida’s wetlands and forests can harbor mosquitoes and biting insects, especially near dusk and dawn.

Drive cautiously in suburban areas

The compact size helps, but be mindful of narrow roads, cyclists, and pedestrians in urban spots like St. Petersburg.
