About Discover the breathtaking scenery of Doe Mountain by exploring our extensive network of off-road trails! Our fleet of brand-new Polaris vehicles is the perfect way to spend a thrilling day on the mountain.

Rental Information Renters must be 21 years or older and provide proof of age upon pick-up. All drivers must be at least 18 years old. An insurance hold will be placed on the debit/credit card used for booking or another provided card upon arrival.

Premier Protection: A $1,500 hold will be placed on the card, representing the maximum out-of-pocket cost for potential damages to the off-highway vehicle (OHV). If repair costs are below this amount, the difference will be refunded to the renter.

What's Included and What to Bring Your rental includes helmets for all passengers, eye protection, and a trail map. We recommend bringing gloves, long pants, long sleeves, and closed-toed shoes. Snacks and drinks are encouraged, but if you forget, they are available for purchase at the Adventure Center.

Adventure Options Half-Day Kettle Foot Adventure Begin your four-hour journey at the Adventure Center, where you'll have access to miles of easy to intermediate trails. One highlight is the historic Kettle Foot Tower, named after a worker who once saw a bear with its foot stuck in a kettle. Depending on the season, you'll enjoy vibrant fall colors, blooming spring flowers, or lush forests across 8,600 acres. Pack a lunch and picnic at one of the many observation points overlooking the surrounding mountains and farmlands.

Full-Day Watauga Lake View Adventure Start at the Adventure Center and embark on an 8-hour exploration of 8,600 acres of untouched wilderness. Head to the far corner of the area for stunning views of Watauga Lake, navigate challenging trails and discover hidden gems as you make your way back. You can also stop at the Pioneer Center for lunch at one of the OHV-accessible restaurants. This full-day adventure lets you take in most of the sights, including Kettle Foot Fire Tower, Turkey Top, Grouse Ridge, and Roan Creek View. Enjoy a full day of exploration and excitement!
