No experience required just an adventurous soul. This 2hr tour* begins at our Birdseye Outpost, altitude 10,000 feet. Here, your guide will begin training you on the operation of your snowmobile that you will use to ascend Prospect Mountain, topping out at over 12,600 feet. You will start out on our easy trails and have some playtime in the meadow so you can get acclimated with your snowmobile before you begin your ascent up Prospect Mountain. Breathtaking views of Leadville's Historic Mining District, the Continental Divide, the 3 tallest mountains in the Rockies, and many mountains over 14,000 feet await you from the top of the mountain.
Temperatures can drop quickly at high altitude, so bring layers to stay comfortable throughout the tour.
