Beach Rides Near You We offer beach rides for guests 10 years old and up. Los Padres Outfitters rides 7 days per week, year round thanks to our temperate climate in the Central Coast. Just 90 miles north of Los Angeles, we are the closest location for horseback riding on the beach in LA County.

For All Experience Levels No experience is necessary to enjoy the great outdoors on horseback. Our horses are suitable for riders with all levels of horseback riding experience. Individual, group, family, sunset, sunrise, and picnic adventures can be arranged any time of year and for any number of people.

All Beach rides are part trail, in order to get us to the beach.

20% automatic gratuity is pre-added upon booking to all picnic rides.

There is a 220 lb weight limit

Enjoy a scenic picnic following your beach ride. Dismount and your guide will take you to a secluded spot with incredible views of land and sea. We prepare a specially curated selection of locally sourced treats. Let us know if you have any dietary requirements; you’re welcome to provide your own wine.

What to bring

Purses, backpacks and other large or baggy items cannot be carried on the horse as they may restrict your ability to ride. Small cameras, water bottles, ect. can be carried in a small pouch (saddlebags) provided on your saddle by Los Padres Outfitters upon request.

Long Pants and closed-toed shoes are recommended for all riders.

Plastic rain ponchos and umbrellas are prohibited during inclement weather. Guests may wear rain jackets or coats or we have slickers available to rent for $5 per ride.
