All primary renters are required to at least 25 years old, possess all certifications and have previous boating experience. Guests not having previous experience or not demonstrating sufficient boating knowledge will not be permitted to leave the dock.
Effective Aug. 1, 2019, Everglades National Park now requires all marine boaters to have completed the Park’s Boater Education Program. If you have not previously taken this course, you will need to do so before departing with your rental boat. The course is available for free in Spanish or English and may be accessed at: https://www.nps.gov/ever/planyourvisit/boater-education-program.htm
