Ice Castle Rental Adventure in Detroit Lakes, MN

What is it?

• A 16'-17' Ice Castle fish house with a heater, kitchenette, radio, and TV. Rentals also include a generator with a full tank of gas. Also included is sheets, pillows, blankets, and basic cookware.

When is it available?

• 7 days a week, from the beginning of January to the beginning of March. (Depending the weather, there may be December availability. Contact Baxstar to inquire.)

• Customers can book a 2 day/1 night reservation on Monday-Wednesday. Otherwise, there is a 3 day/2 night minimum.

Who is this for?

• Those looking for a multi-day rental
• Those looking to spend the night on the ice
• Those looking for the most comfortable ice fishing setting
• We recommend 4 people per house, but they can sleep up to 6

Where is it?

• The Ice Castle is located on Little Detroit Lake, in Detroit Lakes, MN. There are multiple restaurants on shore within seeing distance from the house.

Staffed Check In Time(s):

• Friday-Sunday: 1 pm
• Monday-Thursday: 7:00 am, 12:30 pm or 5 pm
• Times above are for a staffed check in. You can check yourself in any time after 1 pm. We will provide you with directions to get you to the spot (must have 4 wheel drive vehicle). Contact Us to make arrangements.

Final Day Check Out Time

• 11 am (regardless of check out day)

We can often (not always) be flexible with check in and check out times. Call or text Brady with Baxstar at 701-261-3703 to discuss alternate check in and check out times.

Equipment Rental You can add the following items to your reservation at checkout: fish finder, underwater camera, rods, reels, tackle, live bait, & full gas can.

A $500 hold will be placed on the card on file at check in for a damage deposit.  You can also use a different card for the hold.  This hold will be released after the rental, so long as there is no damage to the Ice Castle.
