Adventure Tips

Dress in layers for fluctuating temperatures

Temperatures can vary greatly throughout the day, so layering ensures you stay comfortable on extended ski days.

Carry a navigation device, even on the trail

While the trail is well-marked, snowy conditions can obscure paths, so a GPS or compass is recommended.

Start with shorter sections if unsure

Build your endurance gradually by breaking the journey into manageable segments the first few days.

Check weather forecasts regularly

Clear skies and fresh snow can change quickly, impacting safety and visibility, so stay updated daily.
