The boat’s upper deck glints in the sun; the ladder and slide promise easy, repeat jumps while the hull sits steady in the gentle fetch of Yellow Lake. For twelve hours you carve arcs across open water, drift in glassy coves, and anchor at a small sandbar where the shoreline reeds dare you to test your balance.
