Dawn breaks over Kathmandu and the city exhales incense and engine smoke; prayer flags tug at the edge of roofs while the Himalaya sit like a distant promise beyond the smog. This 10-day circuit moves from the city’s stone courtyards to broad Terai grasslands, then westward through the pilgrim sites of Lumbini and the lakeside calm of Pokhara.

Suitable for travelers in light-to-moderate fitness: mostly easy walks and some uneven terrain during safaris and temple visits; comfortable with long car transfers.
Park entrance fees and jungle activity permits are handled by the tour operator and included in the itinerary’s activities.
Expect several 4–6 hour drives between destinations (Kathmandu–Nagarkot, Nagarkot–Chitwan, Chitwan–Lumbini, Lumbini–Pokhara, Pokhara–Kathmandu). Roads vary from highway to winding mountain stretches.
This itinerary stays at low to moderate elevations (Kathmandu ~1,400 m; Nagarkot ~2,175 m); serious altitude sickness is uncommon, but those sensitive should monitor symptoms.
Mountain flights are optional and not included—participants can book a scenic mountain flight on Day 10 at their own expense.
