A great run for groups of 4 or more. This full day trip is 10.5 miles long and takes about 5 to 6 hours to complete. Features lots of class I & II rapids with great mountain and wilderness scenery along the way. Trip departs from our Buchanan riverfront location and requires a shuttle back to our store from the Alpine boat landing. This is one of the best sections of the Upper James River Water Trail. A very popular trip for summer camps, scout and group customers. This trip is a step up in difficulty and excitement from our Horseshoe Bend to Buchanan float. This trip has a mandatory 3:30 PM trip ending time for the return shuttle.
