During the months of June-August, the Interior of Alaska can see temperatures rise up to 90 degrees Fahrenheit. No, not every season is filled with snow on the tundra and during these hot dog days of summer our Northern bred (double coated) Alaskan Huskies can’t run their usual mileage at risk of overheating. This is their summer vacation that is filled with loose walks & fun in the sun.
Join us for a mushing presentation and learn about working dog temperament, pack mentality and 1,000-mile races, such as the Yukon Quest & Iditarod. Then jump into our comfortable UTV for a quick mush around the block.

Tour Length: 1.5 hours Trail Time: 5-10 minutes *Trail mileage is Temperature Dependent and trail time is at the Guide's discretion based on the well-being of the dogs.
