While trains were used to carry passengers and freight between towns and cities across America, trolley cars carried passengers to and from work, from neighborhood to neighborhood, and were a crucial part of many American’s lives throughout the industrial age. The East Broad Top Railroad is proud to partner with the Rockhill Trolley Museum to offer visitors a unique opportunity to relive that transportation story, combing a scenic steam-powered train ride and an electric trolley ride into one convenient itinerary.
You’ll take a leisurely one-hour train ride through the Pennsylvania countryside pulled by an authentic 1916 steam locomotive. Back in Rockhill Furnace, the train makes a special stop at the Rockhill Trolley Museum for museum ticket holders to disembark and walk only a few short steps to their waiting trolley car, just as it would have happened in many major cities across the nation. Once at the Rockhill Trolley Museum, you’ll enjoy a 45-minute ride along Blacklog Creek aboard one of their carefully restored electric trolley cars. You’ll also enjoy a walking tour of their restoration facilities and car barns.

Note While you must select a train departure time, your Rockhill Trolley Museum ticket is general admission and is valid all day! Trolley Rides depart hourly from 11am - 4pm. You must check-in at the ticket window in the Orbisonia Station prior to entering the Rockhill Trolley Museum.
Plan to arrive at least 15 minutes before departure to fully explore the Rockhill Trolley Museum restoration facilities.
Expect some walking on uneven surfaces around the museum and boarding areas, so sturdy shoes are recommended.
