Course Overview

Located amid the rugged beauty of New Hampshire’s White Mountains, Waterville Valley Clubhouse offers an intimate golf experience designed for players seeking a quick yet engaging challenge. This executive 9-hole course stretches roughly 1,800 yards, featuring a par that invites efficient play and steady improvement. Despite its compact layout, the course embraces the natural contours of the mountain environment, with fairways weaving through gentle rises and dips that test shot placement and club selection.

The setting delivers more than golf; panoramic views from several vantage points capture the surrounding peaks, blending alpine air with green expanses. The landscape prompts thoughtful play, with bunkers guarding greens and strategically placed hazards encouraging precision rather than power. Wind, often a subtle presence in the valley, can influence trajectory, adding variety to each round and inviting golfers to adjust their timing and focus.

Waterville Valley Clubhouse caters to a diverse range of players, from newcomers eager to gain confidence on shorter holes to experienced golfers refining their short game. Its approachable design, combined with well-maintained turf, provides a straightforward rhythm that suits both walking rounds and more leisurely play. Players appreciate the balance of relaxation and engagement, where each hole unfolds without overwhelming, yet never feels routine.

Beyond golf, the clubhouse serves as a welcoming hub, with a deck that overlooks the course and mountains, perfect for winding down with a meal or drink. This spot is ideal for social time after a round, adding to the course’s relaxed atmosphere.

Visitors planning to play here should prepare for changing mountain weather and bring appropriate footwear for the course’s varied terrain. While the layout is short, attention to detail and natural factors ensure no two rounds feel identical. Waterville Valley Clubhouse is a refreshing choice for golfers looking to combine scenic mountain views with focused, enjoyable play in an executive format.

i don't play golf so I had breakfast here-- fantastic wait staff and great food. The views from the deck were fantastic of the surrounding mountains and course. Well worth a visit when in the valley.

The course itself is in decent shape, but at 65 dollars for an 1800 yard 9 hole course you likely won’t find a worse value anywhere
