This course has an interesting history. It was built in 1900 and private. It has a train track running right through it. It was sold to the city of Lacrosse and the railroad said no more hitting across the tracks, so holes were shorten and it lost a lot of character. So its a mix of old and new holes. While short it plays longer and tougher with the uphill shots on various holes. The condition was good. It was very busy and there were too many carts. Does anyone ever walk?

One of the most beautiful and challenging golf courses in the Midwest. Service was amazing and Marc the starter/marshall was very informative and entertaining! Appreciated he was out on the course periodically to make sure pace of play was maintained. The 19th hole was a nice addition and a fun way to end your round. Definitely would go back.

Used the driving range. Other than the walk to get to it - it was very nice.

Forest Hills is one of the best courses in the area. The prices are maybe on the higher side, but they are justified. I love the look of every hole. The staff are friendly. And I highly appreciate their practice range - including the chipping and putting greens. Plus, they have a 19th hole.
