Course Overview

Bridges Golf & Country Club presents an 18-hole championship layout set against the rugged, sweeping vistas of Montrose, Colorado. As a semi-private facility, Bridges offers both members and visitors a chance to experience a course that blends mountain contours with strategic design, creating a compelling test for golfers across skill levels. The course weaves through natural canyons and forested ridges, where panoramic views of the San Juan Mountains provide not only a stunning backdrop but also subtle challenges from ever-present winds.

The routing encourages thoughtful shot-making, with elevated tees and well-placed bunkers demanding precise distance control. Greens at Bridges are thoughtful in their undulation, rewarding well-read putts without unduly punishing less experienced players. Fairways are generous but framed by native grasses and stands of Ponderosa pine, contributing to a layout that encourages an aggressive yet measured approach.

With a total yardage of approximately 7,000 yards playing to a par of 72, the course balances length and accuracy. The design maintains an approachable character for mid to high handicappers while still offering strategic options and a satisfying challenge to lower handicaps. The playability is heightened by well-maintained turf and smooth cart paths suitable for riding or walking, depending on player preference.

Beyond golf, the clubhouse facilities elevate the overall experience. Remingtons, the onsite restaurant, serves a range of dishes highly praised by diners, providing a perfect spot to unwind after a round. The grounds also accommodate events and concerts that add a vibrant social dimension to the club.

The renovation came out great. Food is much better and the vibe has improved with a younger crowd and better overall experience for members and general public.

I played 18 holes on May 28, 2025 with an 8:08 am tee time. The staff and facilities were great and I truly enjoyed playing the course. I was joined on the back nine by 2 members who were very friendly and helpful in my understanding of the course. The only thing I have an issue with is that I was quoted a price of $69.00 by the young lady when I called for a tee time. I told her I was in town visiting from Michigan. She gave me a senior/veterans rate. When I checked in, I failed to get a receipt as I was told I didn't need one for a starter. When I checked my credit card billing I found I had been charged $30.00 more the the price quoted, or $99.00 If I had been quoted that price, I would still have played and enjoyed it.

Amazing event last night with Dave's Fault and NIGHT RANGER!!! The concessions were good and we had a great with chips for dinner $6. The Bridges opened up the golf cart garage to wait it the rain in between acts. But it was a very intimate concert and it seemed as if the bands were just having fun! It leant to an amazing concert of rock! Thanks for putting on such a great night!!!!!!!
