White Oak - Old Course - 5 stars for 3 reasons: 1. The greens were the best I’ve played this year. 2. The round was 3:15 - wow. 3. Everyone else came in contact with was friendly. So, the course wasn’t in perfect shape but it was really, really good. A few tee boxes were over-seeded and shaggy and they do have several ant mounds on the course but nothing that detracted from the day. Every bunker had good sand, the greens were consistent (and great), the course was well maintained and the on-course restrooms were clean. This is my first time playing the old course and I quite enjoyed the round. I think the course is fair but challenging in that you do have to be in the right position off of most tees or you will be penalized. The course isn’t tight but they have lots of trees. The staff was very warm and friendly as were the members I interacted with as well. Really enjoyed the whole experience.

The food service is variable. Yesterday it was great a single server covering the lunch crowd.. the prior week multiple people on the wait staff service and food quality was poor.

Hidden gem in Newnan. Played the links-like Seminole course. Like low country and in the best of ways. Great use of the creek throughout!!
