Absolutely amazing course and it’s in great shape. Staff was friendly. The course is tough but fair. I drove an hour one way to play it and I’ll definitely go back

I wanted to like Gladstan. The views are undeniably scenic—quintessential Utah foothills with rolling elevation and beautiful backdrops. But that’s about where the positives end. This course is a textbook example of wasted potential. The pace of play is absolutely brutal. We’re talking five-hour rounds that feel like six, and not a marshal in sight. If there was any staff monitoring play, they were either invisible or asleep in the cart barn. Worse, the course etiquette is atrocious—especially dangerous given the number of blind holes on the back nine. While the GPS carts clearly show where groups are, the players behind us repeatedly ignored them and hit over our heads on multiple holes. It wasn’t just careless—it was reckless. Meanwhile, the group in front of us spent a comical amount of time fishing for balls beyond the fence line with a scooper, completely oblivious to the 2-3 groups stacked up behind them on the same hole. The conditions? Mediocre. Patchy tee boxes, rough greens, and a layout that feels more designed for a photo op than actual playability. It’s like they banked on the views doing all the heavy lifting and let everything else slide. With far better options in the region—better pace, better upkeep, and actual course management—there’s just no reason to play here unless you enjoy chaos. Scenic? Sure. Worth it? Not even close.

This was a great golf course. The views are really pretty and it’s a difficult course. It gets really busy so make sure to book well in advance. It also might seem like a weird location but the views justify it. I’m super excited to go back!

Gladstan Golf Course is an incredible hidden gem in Utah County, offering breathtaking mountain views and a challenging yet rewarding layout. The course is well-maintained, with lush fairways, fast greens, and dramatic elevation changes that make every round exciting. The front nine provides a solid warm-up with more forgiving fairways, while the back nine demands accuracy and strategy, especially on the signature par-5 12th hole. The peaceful, scenic atmosphere enhances the experience, free from the distractions of surrounding homes. Prices are very reasonable for the quality of golf you get, making it a fantastic value. While pace of play can slow down during peak hours, early morning and twilight rounds tend to move smoothly. Whether you’re a local or visiting the area, Gladstan is a must-play for golfers looking for a fun and challenging course with stunning views.

A great hidden gem of a golf course. Each 9 has two very different feels. The front is a lakes course feel and the back a mountain course.
