Unbelievable golf course. I went up to VT 3 times since August, just to play this course. I’m from Connecticut and we have nothing like this near me. Conditions? Spectacular. Layout? Spectacular. Course equipment and facilities? Spectacular. Everything about this course is 5 stars, including the staff, and I will continue to come back in years to come as this is my favorite public course of all time.

Our group of 16 had a great time at Fox Run this past weekend. The course was in very good shape, w just a couple of spots where some tracked vehicles left some scars. The greens ran fast and true. And, of course, the views are splendid. The beer carts represented often enough, w beers being expensive enough, such that you were well behaved (at least as alcohol was concerned!) The tee boxes were pretty rough. A couple seemed to have been skim-coated in green sand. Perhaps if we had played from the big boy tees, that wouldn’t have been an issue? What can I say? It was a scramble. The staff was attentive and considerate. Made it seem like they appreciated our busy. Which, at $127 a round, they certainly should! We even met the new owner, who sat w us for a few minutes. I still can’t decide if USB ports in the carts is a good thing, but… Good times, both days!

I’ll start by saying the golf course itself is exceptional. One of the best in Vermont. However last weekend we felt a little off put by what we were told was a charity fund raiser but it turned out to just be some kids making money for themselves and not actually charity. My wife works very closely with charitable foundations, most notable CHAD Children’s hospital at Dartmouth so we feel very compelled to help. We happily donated to the kids thinking it was a community fundraiser only later to find out that it was just going in their pockets and not to an actual charity of any kind. I believe one of the kids told our friend it was for a trip to Myrtle beach. To me this was dishonest and shouldn’t happen. That’s the kind of thing gofundme is for. At the very least they could have said it was for themselves and not given the impression that it had more noble intentions. I’m sure many people would still give kids money but it felt pretty deceptive. This is why real charities must follow strict rules to stay transparent. The IRS requires tax-exempt organizations (like 501(c) (3) nonprofits) to file annual reports (Form 990) detailing their finances, including how donations are spent. People don’t want to be taken advantage of.

Outstanding lunch! I ordered their salmon. It was cooked perfectly, and the corn succotash beautifully complimented the salmon. The wait staff was very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!

Played on 10/10. Phenomenal course, firm and fast greens. It's challenging but worth every penny.

Beautiful course. Poorly run by staff. Didn’t get to play out a single hole with my group and was followed around to ensure pace was kept. This happened with the multiple groups ahead of us as well. Finished 9 holes in less than 1.5 hours - yet didn’t fully play out/and putt a single one. Total waste of money.

Fox Run puts Vermont golf on the Map! The club is on a pristine piece of property located across the street from OKEMO Mt. and offers incredible views of the slopes. The course is masterfully built WITH the land, not on it, and uses this hilly terrain to create a true Mountain golf experience. Bring a range Finder that calculates slope as elevation gain / loss is an integral part of its layout and challenge. Every hole is unique, dog legs bend both ways, which allows for a lot of creativity off the tee / into greens, and you’ll never have the same shot twice. To top it all off, this place has the best food in town. I loved everything about my Fox Run experience and can’t wait to play it again. See you soon !
