GolfJam Information

Dutcher Creek Golf Course was a great stop on our summer of 2023 #golfjam tour. The breathtaking views around this golf course made for some great golf shots both with our clubs and our cameras. The golf course was in good shape and the price did not break our budget. The staff were kind and the drink prices were fair. The golf course has just been upgraded with all new cart paths which made for a smooth ride, which was good for our backs for a change. We are hoping to return to Grant's Pass again soon. Both the front nine and the back nine had very challenging holes. Being as this was our first time playing Dutcher Creek we all agreed we would make different choices next time around as this is one of those courses where previous course knowledge is a huge advantage.

Looks like your enjoyment at Dutcher Creek is top on new owners score card. This coming from more than one person spoke with during my round. “The course has been recently landscaped” said one of the employees. “Removing or pruning trees to open up fairways and working to improve greens.” I played on 3-22-23. Dutcher Creek offered views of snow dusted foothills, clean air, geese, ducks, and a peaceful setting on a few miles off I-5. Power carts, pro-shop, friendly staff were the first things I notice. On to the golf. Fairway grass was in good shape and greens roped true with a some break and were protected by water and sand bunkers making well placed tee shots and controlled second shots key to navigating this track. I got a power cart but included with my app. However, the course only has a couple of holes with much slope and there were several golfers walking. Thank you for the round.

Dutcher is a beautiful 18 hole course. The grounds are well maintained and everyone that works there is nice and helpful. The pro shop has a nice selection of womans clothes, clubs and bags. The carts have comfortable seats and have screens with information like yards to hole. I am a newer golfer so there are a few challenging holes but it's been fun to push myself to get better. Over all I would recommend the course to anyone.

My experience at Dutch Creek Golf Course was nothing short of a nightmare. From the moment we set foot on the course, it was clear that the management had no idea how to run a respectable establishment. We were just trying to enjoy a casual round of golf when we were aggressively approached by a man who claimed to be the owner. He launched into a profanity-laced tirade, berating us for being on the fairway, even though there were no signs or indications that we weren’t allowed to be there. His behavior was not only unprofessional but downright abusive. As if that wasn’t bad enough, his friend, who was stumbling around drunk, pulled out a gun and threatened us. Yes, you read that right—a gun on a golf course! We were in complete disbelief and feared for our safety. The fact that these two individuals were supposedly in charge of the place makes it an absolute hazard to the public. To add insult to injury, the so-called owner made a heartless comment about someone’s recently deceased dog, showing a complete lack of empathy and basic human decency. The entire atmosphere was toxic, and it felt like we had stumbled into some lawless, backwoods nightmare rather than a golf course. The course itself was in terrible condition, with unkempt greens and fairways that looked like they hadn’t been maintained in years. The overall experience was so horrendous that I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy. In short, Dutch Creek Golf Course is a disaster zone. The management is hostile and dangerous, the conditions are abysmal
