A really laid back and fun course. It’s quite challenging with lots of hills and valleys. Some holes have almost not fairway and the longer holes have hazards forcing you to play short. The carts, fairways, and greens are all in great shape. The overall vibe is very laid back and working class. The clubhouse was nice and very friendly. The only issue I had was someone didn’t clean up after their dog on one of the fringes of the green. This feels like a pillar of the community. Somewhere for people to get outside and have some fun together.

One star less just because it only had one par 5 and the rest were mostly 3’s. Up, down, ravine, short, narrow, all of the above short game necessary and good greens. Undulation on a major scale. Also very narrow. A few holes were really on top of each other. Not sure about the ocean views but the weather was fantastic.

I took the opportunity to play disc golf here as I've seen it on the pro tour and it's an iconic course. Also a bit notorious because it requires a very strong arm. It was a nice course and enjoyable but I won't return. There's not much thought given to disc golf in the day to day operation, most notably the signs are old and unreadable, and it's hard to find tee pads (you're lucky if it's not almost completely worn out). Regular golfers are nice and generally understanding but it's going to be a very very long round unless you jump around or get a string of nice groups that wave you through.

Up and down like a goat indeed golf course. Not the longest course but was fun and not too easy at all I thought

This quirky, hilly, tough, fun course is well worth playing for anyone who loves golf. It annoyed me, thrilled me, ate me up, and rewarded me. Throw in the best hot dogs at the turn in San Diego, and a friendly staff, and you get great value for fun golf. Yes, it's weird. That's part of the fun. Just come play it. And bring extra balls.

The vibe is amazing, the range is great, the greens are solid and the course is interesting. We went off at 8am and were done at noon with a beverage stop at the turn. Will play again next time I’m in town.

Rates double on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. $65 to walk is crazy. No senior or even resident rate. I lived here for 35 years and played here when it was a hole in the wall. Nothing like chasing out your neighbors to make a buck.
