Course is in wonderful shape. The greens run true and are quick. Very picturesque with undulating fairways and elevated greens. Pace of play was right on at 4:35. Kiskiack feels longer than the yardage on the scorecard due to the elevation changes. Highly recommend playing this course.

The review has goods and bads. The course is in fantastic condition. The cheeseburgers were awesome. The staff told me that our reservation was for 3pm. I wrote down 3pm. When we arrived they told us 3:18pm. When I protested they said well someone put 3:18pm and they couldn't help us. It was like we are so sorry but instead tough shit. Then they allowed the group in front of us to play slow as hell. Not one ranger came out to tell the group to speed up. We had to run the last hole at sunset. I was beyond angry. But as far as course conditions go its without a doubt a great gem. The staff was a 1 or 2 star in my opinion.

Our High School tournament was hosted there on 8/22. Great course. Plenty of shade and a great course! The staff in the pro shop were friendly and the snack bar attendant was sweet as can be!

I have played this course twice and both times it was in great shape. Staff was friendly and the facilities are great.

Disappointed by Range Marshal's Unprofessional Attitude I played at Kiskiack today and was very disappointed by the behavior of the range marshal. While I usually enjoy my time here, the marshal’s attitude was unnecessarily rude and confrontational from the start. Rather than offering guidance or addressing any concerns in a respectful way, he approached with an aggressive tone that soured our entire Father's day experience. He was very upset that I was letting my son practice some shots while the 4 of us were playing. My attempt at trying to have discourse about what was going on was immediately met with threats to kick us off the course. He wanted us to speed up pace of play and blaming me for letting my son hit some balls while we played the hole. My son's presence had no impact to our pace of play and he only hit a few balls a couple of times that day. I tried to explain everything to him but he kept saying he was going to kick us off the course even when I tried to tell him my son wouldn't play anymore. It wouldn't have made any difference whatsoever because we still had to wait on the next tee box for the group in front of us. In the end, we did split up our family group but we were forced to wait even longer due to the group in front of us. So in the end, we slowed pace even further than it already was. Golf is meant to be a game of respect and etiquette—something I expect from staff as well as players. Unfortunately, the marshal's behavior was far from professional and did not reflect the values or atmosphere that most golfers appreciate. I hope management addresses this issue seriously. A more courteous and constructive approach from course staff would go a long way in maintaining the welcoming environment this course is otherwise known for. I normally have a great experience at this course and I really enjoy the layout. However, this experience really overshadowed our entire Father's day celebration and ruined the experience for the whole group. There are plenty of great courses in the area that treat you respectfully. I doubt I'll be back. The only positive experience my group had was with the starter, he was very great and sent us on the course with smiles and laughs.
