Eaglewood’s scenery is defined less by elevation changes and more by its proximity to the airfield. The frequent roar of jets provides a distinctive soundtrack, adding an energetic atmosphere that can sharpen focus and lend a unique edge to the round. While audio distractions might be unexpected, the flatness of the course makes walking an entirely manageable experience, especially during cooler months when the turf remains firm and receptive.

Amenities include a well-stocked pro shop for gear needs and a friendly staff eager to assist visitors, whether stopping by for a quick lesson or gearing up for a full round. Access requires base entry privileges, but once inside, golfers encounter a welcoming, well-kept facility where the sense of discipline typical of a military environment blends with genuine hospitality.

For those planning a visit, note the convenience of flat terrain for walking and recommend athletic shoes with good grip for early morning dew or wet conditions. Early tee times can offer a quieter experience, ideal for those looking to enjoy uninterrupted concentration before the jets pick up. Eaglewood Golf Course stands out as a distinctive military track, where precision meets practicality and each round pairs golf with an unmistakably lively backdrop.

Great course. ALWAYS in great shape no matter the time of the year. Easy walk as it’s flat. Fairways are generously wide if you miss hit. Nice pro shop with everything you need. It’s next to the air field so can expect to hear lots of jet noise. Overall this is a must play course if you’re in the area and can get on base.

I attended some promotion to enocourage golfers to learn the new 2019 rules, and had a blast. Free class, lunch, and 9 holes. Anyway, this course is in the air force base way in the back. The staff is very nice and the guys I teamed with were cool. The course is very flat and predictable, so easier for bad golfers like me. All in all, it's worth playing here at least once.

Put your next round into full throttle by bombing drives, sticking irons into greens, and putting with confidence, while taking in the sight lines and thunderous F15s kicking in their after burners. The course is in pristine condition. The greens roll true and almost no signs of summer aeration remain. The fairways are excellent, and feature a distinct cut between fairway and rough. The grounds crew clearly takes pride in the course both in aesthetics and playability. Friendly staff. I highly recommend playing Eaglewood GC.
