I haven’t been here in a long time, but I’m temporarily staying in the woods development and so I’ve been hanging out just a few hours at the seven Tap. I was treated with kindness and the bartender tonight werr very courteous to my indecisiveness of what to order so I went with her suggestions and it was right on. Today was my birthday and I had the Greek salad with salmon and it was awesome! The bartenders tonight were Mia and Frankie who offered great Service and great suggestions! It was very slow tonight, but they still had things to do and I really try to be courteous and respectful to them. I had some important business to take care of before I walked home to enjoy the beautiful evening , so I asked them just let me know when I need to leave and I’ll takeoff and they were very kind doing that! I also came here another night a few days ago, and I dealt with Anne-Marie and Keith, and they also offered courteous service. I’m not your typical customer I like to talk a lot of good things sometimes deep, I like to share my experiences my strength, my hope and I try to do it when I know they’re looking and they’re not busy. If I go on Facebook I will tell my friends , family or customers, to come here always refer people to the seventh tap and the next time I come in here I hope to bring a group of people and spend a good money OK and take care of the staff like I would like to. I personally don’t have a lot of money right now like I used to have doing all the Tree Work on this course and all over this area when they first opened up, but I’m disabled man from an accident years ago and I’m trying to do the best I can to come back one day at a time. so as I say, I’ll make a long story short I’ll do that now and end with I will be back and I’ll make sure I tell all my friends and family how awesome the 7 taps, the golf course and come with as many people I can to fill the joint up when it’s really slow. Keep up the good service, the good food and you guys will be here for a long time to come !! It’s all good, god bless you!😇

When my husband and I were looking for wedding venues, we were very specific on what we wanted. We really wanted something outdoors for the ceremony and a beautiful reception hall that did not give off that "Ballroom" look. We hated chandeliers and let me tell you, it was difficult to find a venue in NJ without a chandelier. When we first toured Blue Heron Pines, we instantly fell in love. We immediately knew that this was the spot we wanted to get married in. It was exactly what we wanted but the only hesitation we had was that our family lived about an hour away from it. After going back an forth about it, we decided to book it and that was the best decision we have ever made. It turns out that the people that truly love you will make that trip for you because everyone on our guest list came to our wedding! All the employees at Blue Heron were extremely helpful and super nice. Sarah and Tara are amazing at keeping the bride calm throughout the whole process, from booking the venue, down to the day after the wedding. Our wedding day was perfect, thanks to Blue Heron Pines and their amazing staff. I HIGHLY recommend having your wedding at Blue Heron. They will definitely not disappoint!

I had such a great experience here. I’m new to the golfing scene and this place was my fifth place I visited. For end of winter transitioning to spring, the conditions of the course was superb. The course was really beautiful and i really enjoyed this place. The starter was super nice and helpful. The bartenders at the bar were super nice and friendly. The atmosphere was just what you’d expect from a really nice venue. Highly recommended!!

Flavors & Fairways

Blue Heron Pines remains one of the top public golf courses near Atlantic City for layout, amenities, and hospitality. While the green conditions were disappointing this time, everything else—from the clubhouse to pace of play—delivered a great experience. With a return visit, there’s definitely more to enjoy here. 1. Course Layout: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4/5) Among the multiple courses near Atlantic City, this layout stands out as one of the top. It’s not overly difficult, but it’s well-designed, interesting, and fun to play. 2. Tee Box Condition: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4/5) Tee boxes were generally well-kept. A few areas could use more care, but nothing major. Good maintenance overall. 3. Fairway Condition: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ (3/5) Fairways were playable but not in their best shape. Some patchy areas and inconsistent turf brought down the rating. 4. Green Condition: ⭐️⭐️ (2/5) Unfortunately, the greens were in poor condition during this round. Slow, bumpy, and not well-maintained. A noticeable drop in quality. 5. Value for Money: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4/5) Reasonably priced for a weekend morning round. While green conditions were a letdown, the overall experience and amenities still made it worth the cost. 6. Clubhouse: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5) Outstanding. The clubhouse is modern, clean, and welcoming—with excellent staff service. The attached restaurant, 7 Tap Tavern, adds extra charm and convenience. 7. Pace of Play: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4/5) For a Saturday morning, the pace was surprisingly smooth. No significant delays, though not quite fast enough for a perfect score. 8. Cart: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4/5) Standard electric carts, comfortable and functional. GPS was available, which was a plus. A solid experience overall. 9. Specialty: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4/5) The Seven Tap Tavern, friendly service throughout, and overall atmosphere give this course a strong personality. Despite the green issues, these unique touches boost the experience.

The staff, practice facility’s, and course were very nice, I brought my daughter along with two other guests and we all agreed the layout was challenging but fair, green pin placements were set nicely so you could go pin seeking from the fairways. Good scores are attainable so a shout out to the maintenance staff. Why just 3 stars, greens are in bad to very bad condition. Our 4 some all agreed, these were beyond slow they were bumpy also and looked stressed. For a course to charge 500.00 for a 4 sum you have to do better then this, the majority of time is spent on or around your greens and your daily fee is not in line with your product. We informed the staff and were told this is a common complaint. I have no issue if I get what I pay for, liked the course not the greens.
