The Bridges at Springtree Golf Club

The Bridges at Springtree Golf Club in Sunrise, Florida, offers an 18-hole par-62 layout that balances approachable play with challenging features like full-sized greens, bunkers filled with talcum sand, and water hazards. Ideal for all skill levels, it’s a well-maintained, fast-paced course with a focus on precision and shot-making.

Course Overview

The Bridges at Springtree Golf Club offers a unique golfing experience tucked within Sunrise, Florida’s vibrant landscape. This 18-hole, par-62 course stretches just over 4,000 yards, making it an approachable yet engaging layout for players looking for a faster round without sacrificing strategic depth. Its executive-length format caters well to novices and seasoned golfers alike, presenting a challenge that is both inviting and rewarding.

Rather than a traditional executive course, The Bridges features full-sized greens that demand precise putting, with several holes protected by well-maintained bunkers filled with soft talcum powder sand. Water hazards meander through key sections of the course, requiring thoughtful club selection and shot execution. The surrounding environment reflects the subtropical Florida setting, with palms and native foliage framing fairways that are consistently groomed to offer smooth lies and solid footing.

Golfers appreciate the course’s friendly pace of play, which can often be completed in around three hours. Since the layout is shorter in total yardage, it allows players focused on shot-making and scoring strategy to test their skills without the endurance demands of a full-length championship course. The absence of a driving range is balanced by an excellent chipping and putting area, making practice before a round both convenient and effective.

Amenities include well-trained staff who contribute to a welcoming atmosphere, and golf carts that enhance comfort and efficiency around the track. Walkers are welcome, with smooth cart paths and well-maintained turf that hold up under foot. For Sunrise residents and visitors, the cost-effective rate adds to the appeal, making it a solid choice for more frequent play.

Whether refining short game skills or seeking a varied round with water and sand challenges, The Bridges at Springtree provides a compact but complete golfing experience. Its design encourages focus, precision, and enjoyment, all set against lush Florida greenery and a course that balances ease of access with compelling strategic options.

Course Highlights

Very nice but challenging executive course. I played from the tips and shot 13 over! Great design and setup...was done in 3 hrs. Carts are efficient as well. No complaints at all!

After playing on a very wet regulation par 72 course on 12/30, this course was a real pleasure on New Year's Day. Our group included a novice female, so the idea of a shorter (par 62, 4,000 yards) appealed to me when I made the booking. This is NOT a typical executive course. It has full-sized greens in excellent condition, plenty of hazards (water and bunkers). The bunkers have talcum powder sand and are well-kept. We had a very enjoyable round.

Normally very good... however...we were only told after we paid that we have to play front 9 twice and that full price was charged... could have warned me when I called to make the booking and when I asked for better rate was told can't be done....very disappointing

Played there a couple of times over the last month or so And it is in very good shape. Right now, they have the back nine closed for my entrance, but the front line is still pretty fun.
