93 Golf Ranch: A Family-Owned Gem in Jerome, Idaho

Jerome, Idaho, USASouth Central Idaho

93 Golf Ranch in Jerome, Idaho, is a family-owned public 18-hole course offering wide fairways, carefully maintained greens, and a welcoming community atmosphere. Designed for players seeking a straightforward yet engaging round, it balances open, accessible play with strategic challenges influenced by natural out-of-bounds and Idaho’s steady breeze.

Course Overview

Located in the quiet agricultural landscape of Jerome, Idaho, 93 Golf Ranch offers an 18-hole public course that meets the needs of both casual players and seasoned golfers. Built on former family farmland, this course enjoys a straightforward layout characterized by wide fairways and well-maintained greens that invite a measured approach rather than a merciless challenge. The natural setting—open fields with distant mountain views—allows the Idaho breeze to play an unpredictable role, testing tempo and shot selection as you move through each hole.

The course balances accessibility with moments of challenge. While the fairways provide ample room to drive off the tee, several holes incorporate out-of-bounds areas that demand accuracy and thoughtful strategy. Golfers of all skill levels will appreciate the forgiving design on most holes but should be mindful of those specific locations where precision becomes paramount. Economical yardages and a generally flat terrain ensure walking is a comfortable experience, though a golf cart is available if preferred.

Facilities on site focus on family and community. The snack bar, noted for its hearty hot dogs, offers a welcome break mid-round and reflects the approachable spirit that runs through the course management. Players often comment on the friendly, knowledgeable staff who keep the grounds in consistently excellent condition—a point of pride for a family-owned operation.

If you plan to book a tee time, be aware that the course can become busy, with tee times set closely. This can create a lively playing environment where pace of play becomes a shared responsibility. Recommended playing times are generally during early mornings or late afternoons to avoid peak crowds and to enjoy the subtle shifts of light over the wide-open landscape.

93 Golf Ranch provides a golfing experience grounded in straightforward fun and reliable conditioning. Its blend of openness, community atmosphere, and fair but firm layout makes it a sensible choice for Idaho golfers looking to escape the usual and enjoy a round shaped by family pride and natural simplicity.

Course Highlights

Built on former family farmland, 93 Golf Ranch features wide fairways guarded by occasional out-of-bounds fences that challenge shot placement. The course’s open layout allows steady winds to influence shot-making, adding a subtle element of difficulty. The snack bar is a local favorite for quick, satisfying meals between holes. The approachable design provides a balance of accessibility and strategic play.

Was golfing with my 3 year old son enjoying our time. When Art the manager came and yelled at us very disrespectfully in front on my kid. I even confronted him for an apology and was told I could just leave Will never be coming back here and if you have a kid don't recommend it. The guy in the white hat in the picture.

What a beautiful course. This is a family owned course built by the family on their own former farm ground. The course is alway in immaculate shape, and the staff is friendly and competent. It’s a tough course with some in-course OB’s, but we sometime ignore them if the ball isn’t in a field of crops. The snack bar makes a mean hot dog!

disrespectful, and unkind if children are involved. Don't recommend.

Good, wide, long course to play 18 Holes. Beautiful and well maintained. Tee times are stacked too closely together and you'll often play nose to nose with teams in front and behind you, not too bad tho.
