Course Overview

Located in Barrington, New Hampshire, Nippo Lake Golf Club offers an inviting public golf experience defined by accessible play and scenic charm. This 18-hole course blends a traditional layout with gentle elevations and water features drawn from its lake-side setting, creating a balanced challenge for golfers of all skill levels. While not a lengthy course, Nippo Lake rewards accurate shot-making and thoughtful course management, making each round engaging without overwhelming newer players.

The course follows a parkland style, with well-maintained fairways lined by mature trees that occasionally funnel approach shots toward greens guarded by bunkers and subtle undulations. The greens are generally receptive, providing a fair test for putting, although they rarely punish aggressive lines. Several holes play alongside or near the water, adding strategic interest and visual appeal, particularly on calm days when the lake reflects the sky.

Nippo Lake Golf Club stands out for players wanting a straightforward, well-kept course paired with friendly service and enjoyable clubhouse amenities.

One of my favorite public courses in NH, Nippo Lake has always been a destination of mine every golf season. The renovation they did on their dining area is awesome, and there is so much more natural lighting now. The course is always in great shape, and even if you're not a golfer, the food is excellent and the views from the lounge and deck of the course and scenery make it worth stopping by for lunch even if you're not a golfer

Had a free 18 twosome gift card, played the front nine and by the time I went to go play the back nine I was told it's men's league. I start at 1 o'clock ended at three. I politely asked what could be done about it and all they gave me was $12 when playing nine cost almost 40 bucks without a car. They said nothing else could be done about it. I've been coming here for years. Very pathetic, terrible customer service.

Course in good shape. Greens were just fine but the food afterwards was some of the best we've ever had at a golf course

Good course with some scenic views. The driving range is elevated and it is irons only since you can’t hit anything longer than 175 yards. Balls were a hodgepodge mix of practice and old found balls. Friendly lady in the pro shop.

Great course in Barrington NH. Played in the 1st Annual Strafford Firefighters Fundraiser and the event was excellent. Lots of great people put this event in motion. They had a pneumatic golfball cannon on the 10th hole? YOU SHOT YOUR BALL UP TO THE GREEN FOR A $10 DONATION & GOT AN AUTOMATIC EAGLE (it didn't help our score though) SUCH A GOOD IDEA!!! All the golfers...72 golfers enjoyed beautifully kept greens, awesome views, superb weather, yummy food and drinks from a 1st rate staff!!! ...Can't wait for next year!!!
