Glen Acres Golf & Country Club

Boulevard Park, Washington, USAPuget Sound

Glen Acres Golf & Country Club features a versatile nine-hole layout that plays eighteen with alternate tees, set within a lush Pacific Northwest parkland. Known for well-maintained greens, detailed practice facilities, and a friendly members-only atmosphere, it challenges golfers of varying abilities while offering excellent amenities beyond the course.

Course Overview

Glen Acres Golf & Country Club offers a distinctive golf experience blending a challenging nine-hole course with a flexible layout that plays as a full 18 when utilizing multiple tee boxes. The course contours through the Pacific Northwest’s lush landscape of Boulevard Park, Washington, presenting a parkland style that balances strategic shot-making with accessibility for a range of skill levels. Mature trees frame the fairways, while subtle elevation changes and well-placed hazards encourage thoughtful club selection and course management.

The setting delivers seasonal scenery that transforms from verdant greens in summer to the rich, deep hues of fall foliage. Though compact compared to standard championship layouts, Glen Acres packs complexity into its design with slick greens that demand precision putting and a practice facility featuring two driving ranges and dual putting greens. This setup supports players aiming to sharpen their short game or build confidence with a driver.

The club operates as a members-only facility with an inviting atmosphere noted for friendly camaraderie and strong community spirit. Alongside golf, amenities include a well-appointed clubhouse, a restaurant praised for both quality and hospitality, a pool, and tennis courts, making it an attractive all-around recreational venue.

For visitors planning a round, the course’s moisture-prone areas can create softer footing and slower ball roll at times, so walking is encouraged but sturdy, water-resistant shoes are recommended. The layout’s design rewards thoughtful play rather than brute power, making it approachable for mid to high handicappers while still posing a test for seasoned golfers aiming to fine-tune accuracy and finesse.

Whether you are a member or a guest invited by one, Glen Acres offers more than just golf. It fosters a welcoming environment where improvement, social connection, and enjoyment converge amid one of Washington’s well-cared-for private golf settings.

Course Highlights

The course's unique dual-range practice facility includes two driving ranges and two putting greens, catering to targeted skill development. Its layout balances challenging greens and strategic holes that reward accuracy. Off-course, guests enjoy a full-service clubhouse, an outdoor pool, and tennis courts, making the club a comprehensive social and recreational destination.

I’ve been a member here for a year and half and I love this place. The people are very friendly and in fact I have not met a rude person yet. Challenging 9 hole golf course (different tee boxes to make it 18) with two practice ranges and two practice putting greens. Has a restaurant, pool, tennis courts and more! I could go on and on but if you are looking for a country club that makes you feel welcomed with very reasonable membership charges, The Glen could be your ticket!

This place is absolutely beautiful!! The views are magnificent, especially when you get a clear day with the skyline view in the background. We had my brother's wedding here. Jason, the general manager, is a star!! I have never worked with anyone so down to earth, hard working, helpful, flexible and accommodating. He and his team did an amazing job making sure our event was perfect, and I normally don't use the term perfect in planning weddings! Their food is awesome and the space is just beautiful. If you're looking for a venue for your special event, I promise you Glen Acres Golf and Country Club will not disappoint! A special thank you to Jason and your team! You're all awesome!!

Great course. The greens were running smoothly even though they just punched it, probably the best punched greens I have ever played. It is very wet in places though. It is a tough little course but I like it. They range area is very good. The food is very nice.
