Boulevard Park, Washington, USAPuget Sound Region

Glen Acres Golf & Country Club combines a thoughtful 9-hole layout, played as 18 from dual tees, with practice facilities and a welcoming clubhouse. This parkland-style course offers challenge through precision, making it ideal for players eager to refine their short game in an inviting private club setting.

Course Overview

Glen Acres Golf & Country Club offers a distinctive blend of challenge and charm with its compact but cleverly designed 9-hole layout that plays like an 18 from dual tee boxes. Located in the heart of Boulevard Park, Washington, this members-only course presents a refreshing parkland-style experience framed by mature trees and thoughtfully contoured fairways that invite strategic shot-making. The course demands precision more than length, making it a fitting test for mid to low handicaps while remaining approachable for players seeking to sharpen their short game and course management skills.

The layout’s manageable yardage is balanced by intricately placed bunkers and subtle elevation changes that keep each hole engaging without overwhelming the player. Greens are well-maintained and responsive, rewarding accurate approach shots and careful putting. Weather conditions can bring moisture to some low-lying areas, adding a layer of tactical consideration when navigating wet grounds. Those looking to improve their game can also take advantage of Glen Acres’ two practice ranges and dual putting greens, excellent facilities that encourage focused warm-ups or dedicated practice sessions before or after play.

Beyond the fairways, the club cultivates a welcoming atmosphere enhanced by its modern clubhouse, which features a restaurant known for quality fare and attentive service. Tennis courts and a swimming pool add recreational variety, contributing to a well-rounded country club environment. The friendly, community-oriented vibe makes Glen Acres a place where members and guests feel at ease, whether enjoying a casual round or participating in club events designed around camaraderie and sport.

Walking is encouraged throughout the course, with well-maintained paths and smooth terrain that support a pleasant pace and offer an intimate connection with the landscape. Players are advised to wear proper golf shoes suited for potentially damp conditions during the wetter months. For those interested in a private golf experience that blends playable design with ample amenities, Glen Acres Golf & Country Club ranks as a rewarding destination in the Seattle metropolitan area.

I’ve been a member here for a year and half and I love this place. The people are very friendly and in fact I have not met a rude person yet. Challenging 9 hole golf course (different tee boxes to make it 18) with two practice ranges and two practice putting greens. Has a restaurant, pool, tennis courts and more! I could go on and on but if you are looking for a country club that makes you feel welcomed with very reasonable membership charges, The Glen could be your ticket!

This place is absolutely beautiful!! The views are magnificent, especially when you get a clear day with the skyline view in the background. We had my brother's wedding here. Jason, the general manager, is a star!! I have never worked with anyone so down to earth, hard working, helpful, flexible and accommodating. He and his team did an amazing job making sure our event was perfect, and I normally don't use the term perfect in planning weddings! Their food is awesome and the space is just beautiful. If you're looking for a venue for your special event, I promise you Glen Acres Golf and Country Club will not disappoint! A special thank you to Jason and your team! You're all awesome!!

Great course. The greens were running smoothly even though they just punched it, probably the best punched greens I have ever played. It is very wet in places though. It is a tough little course but I like it. They range area is very good. The food is very nice.
