Most greens had big dirt patches on them and fringe was pretty torn up on most greens as well. Fun and challenging course otherwise.

Our tour group had dinner here. Everything was executed great. Upon arrival, someone was waiting to direct us to our dining area. A superb buffet was laid out and ready. Our dinner had salad, creamy mac and cheese, green beans, sliced ham, seasoned chicken, rolls, and cake for dessert. Food was great. Someone was there assisting us constantly. She was polite and efficient. Offering refills and keeping table cleared. Pointe Royal is part of a golf course resort. We walked around the main lodge and saw guest/owners. Each asked if we dined here. We said yes. Each spoke very highly of the meals they eat here.

I’m going to be fair here. The course is beautiful. But for whatever reason, there are some very rough patches on the greens. They need major attention. Even the local Muni’s with their pretty good fairways have clean greens. For over $100 for 18 I’d just expect at least the greens would be pristine if nothing else. Hopefully this isn’t the case by the time you read this. Excellent course for an Ozark’s experience. Almost as good as Bella Vista.

Terrible management which makes your experience not so great. It’s a bit over priced for the poor quality of the course and how you’ll be treated

This was by far the worst experience I have ever had on a golf course. We were scammed, belittled, and expelled from The course due to employee error. We had 2 tee times. 12:40 & 12:50 for 2 groups of 3. When we arrived to the course we asked the employees if we could play a 3v3 best ball scramble. We were instructed to ask the starter before we went off if we could do so. The starter approved and watched all 6 of us tee off one after another. Best ball ready golf. Golf is going great pace or place was fast since were aren’t bad golfers. We get to the 3rd hole no problem Not a group within 2 holes of us. We tee off on the 3rd hole and then the “ club pro” comes out to us and begins belittling us. Talking to us like we are teenagers in high school. “ who’s gonna tell me what yall are doing wrong” and proceeded to keep asking the same question over and over. We then tell him what we were told by pro shop and the starter. We then offer to split up to 3 & 3 since we had 2 tee times, but seems that wasn’t ok for him and his ego. he then began trying to remove single individuals from our group while being very unprofessional. He then told us to go back to the pro shop and proceeded to escalate the situation much further than it needed to be by telling us we would have to leave without getting our money back. Meaning we were all out $100 for the round. After dealing with the head director of the community the “ golf pro” came back out to us and proceeded to “ attempt” to give us a voucher ( dated for a year from today) after we asked for refunds instead. the “ golf pro” then proceeded to escalate the situation 10 fold saying he would only give refunds to rule followers and smirking while getting a rise out of each of us and even began to yell at a minor for talking to him “ like a kid”. There was several members of our group that did not say a Word To the “ golf pro “ and proceeded to be robbed of our money and our pride. The worst told experience I’ve ever had in my entire life on a golf course. I wish nothing but the best for the starter and the grounds crew but they need a serious reality check in the pro shop. (maybe even some drug testing)
