Course Overview

Holiday Hills Golf Club offers an 18-hole golf experience set within the gently rolling landscapes of Branson, Missouri. This public course unfolds across open fairways with a layout that balances straightforward play with pockets of challenge. The design favors players seeking a relaxed round while still rewarding thoughtful shot-making from all skill levels. Scenery here leans toward the pastoral with broader vistas rather than densely forested corridors, allowing sunlight to flood the course throughout the day.

The course plays to a par of 72 with yardages that range comfortably for those working on distance as well as for those focused on accuracy. Tree-lined sections frame several holes, but it is the open, breezy nature of the terrain that often influences play. Winds drift across the fairways, testing timing and club selection especially for mid-range approach shots. Bunker placement is deliberate but not punitive, serving mainly to frame greens and nudge players toward strategic positioning. Greens themselves are moderately sized and tend to run true, providing ample opportunity for players to showcase putting skills.

Conditions at Holiday Hills reflect its role as a community-oriented course where accessibility takes precedence. Fairways may present variable turf quality in some areas, but the setting remains inviting for beginners and those looking to enjoy a casual round without pressure. The layout invites players of all ages and abilities, making it a practical choice for families or locals in search of a friendly golf environment.

The club’s facilities include a modern pro shop and a well-maintained dining area, both lending a polished atmosphere to the overall experience. Golf carts are available and in good condition, ensuring comfortable navigation across the gently undulating terrain. Staff are known for their welcoming attitude, enhancing the approachable vibe of the club.

While not a championship-level test, Holiday Hills stands out for its openness and hospitable environment. It delivers an affordable golf outing with enough challenge to keep the game engaging and the pace steady, ideal for those looking to unwind without sacrificing the fundamentals of the sport.

Course Highlights

Holiday Hills is distinguished by its open layout that encourages a free-flowing round. Mature trees line key holes, creating natural corridors without overcrowding the course. This is a course that is fine for kids and seniors. Fairways are about 30% weeds and the grass is not exactly great. Greens are OK, fringes not so much. Tee boxes are so so. It is way more open than other nicer courses in the area. If you're a decent golfer looking to play a nice course, look elsewhere.

The course layout here is absolutely beautiful—rolling fairways, scenic views, and a design that really makes you enjoy each hole. The pro shop and dining area are top-notch, modern, and very well kept. Golf carts are in excellent condition, and the staff is friendly and welcoming, which made for a great overall vibe. However, the course condition held it back a bit. There were noticeable weeds throughout several fairways and rough areas that could really use a solid spraying. It took away from the overall polish of an otherwise great golf experience. With a bit more attention to maintenance, this could easily be a four or five-star destination.

Not a great experience. 10-12 minutes a hole with cart path only is not easy. Decided to play best ball scramble style (whatever you want to call it) to try to keep up with the time hacks. On the 5th hole, we were hit into and then approached by the group behind us, informing us that we were behind pace and needed to pick up the pace. We said we'd try and were then hit into over and over. When reporting this to the pro shop, they said we were 10 minutes behind and that the gentlemen behind us were members, which is not the appropriate response. Im not much of a golfer, but my buddy is very good, and we were playing his balls, so we were moving as fast as we could. Very disappointing experience. As far as the course goes, it was fine. It's early in the year, but there definitely needs to be some work done. Definitely comes off as a pretty budget course, but I suppose you get what you pay for. Overall, it was a good course, just unusually unfriendly people for this area .

This is the best bargain in the ozarks! Came down here with 6 coworkers to shingle bang roofs and Mac McNish hooked us up with some tee times last minute. We thoroughly enjoyed smoking pro V’s during our down time. Work hard, play hard 10/10 experience.
