We stopped in while on vacation for an indoor activity on a cold day, and Turf’s Up OBX did not disappoint! Tim was extremely helpful and took his time explaining everything to us. Our family (including three kids) had a great time playing the different simulation games. The facilities were clean and well kept. Highly recommend!

Let's start with if I'm paying by the hour, how about your staff not be interrupting a party of six for the entire 3 hours. It's was OK at first but when she sat down with the group and kept players from actually golfing it became annoying to say it mildly. 3 hours and a group of six couldn't even get 9 holes in is ridiculous. The facility is excellent, clean with adult beverages, and they even have clubs if you don't want to bring your own. Many virtual sports to choose from as well. For simulation golf the machines are hit or miss not like the ones we found around our Hometown they seemed to not pick up shots frequently and didn't have the play as expected. Pricing is unreal, $75 per hour on weekday? No wonder the place was empty while we were there and the phone never rang. Last thing that really upset me was during what came to be my last shot the lady turned the machine off because time was up. I get it, but what was you rushing us out for not like customers are beating the door down or waiting for the machine. Probably will never return is an understatement.

Cool idea especially when it super hot or rainy. Make a reservation in advance if you can as there are limited bay’s and you sign a waiver. The person working was so accommodating and really friendly. We had fun. Would def go back.

We played a mix of sports and games for an hour — something for everyone in the family. The kids couldn’t get enough of the zombie dodgeball game, while my husband had a great time on the golf simulator. The facility was clean, well-maintained, and comfortably air-conditioned (which was a huge plus on a hot day). The woman working there was super friendly and helpful — she made sure we knew how to use all the equipment and got the most out of our time. Highly recommend Turf’s Up if you’re looking for something fun to do on a rainy day or if you just want to kill some time before check-in. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in the Outer Banks!
