This is a military golf course you have to have a military person sponsor you and that's how I got to play 5/17/2025. The golf course is not like your typical long courses but it's a target golf as tree lined fairways and when you get in a wayward strike mostly all you have to do is bunch out but don't let that scare you it's a really nice course. Staffs at the club house were very friendly and helpful and welcoming. Driving range you can hit off grass or matt. When l played it the greens looked like it's was punched but it was nice and fast too l can imagine once the punched is grown over it'll be really smooth. Bunkers l mean it's one to the best l've played so fluffy and and well taken care of too. I shot an 86 for m the blue and p am proud of it since l only get to play once a month or longer. It's a great golf course and l sure had a great time and really enjoyed it. Hopefully l get another chance to play it may be l will better my 81 😂. Oh l carry a 8 handicap just in case you are wondering 😉

Honestly about a year ago the staff were super solid. Dimitrios, Frank, and Eric were super super great. Always accommodating, always respectful, always good people. Since then the new staff has been rude, disrespectful, just straight up not a good time whenever I go. The course is so fun and the ancillary staff (restaurant, Maintenace, and express) are such cool people. I live right next door to it so I tend to play there multiple times a week but I honestly dread going because of the pro shop staff. I’m active duty and this is my one escape from work and it sucks that now I have to haul my ass over to barbers point for a round when I live next to one of the best quality courses.

Great place for a round of golf with friends or by yourself. I always have fun here. Not located on base, bu a government ID card is required. The good: Tee boxes and fairways are pretty nice. Fairways and rough are full of grass, no bare spots. The greens can get challenging. They tend to be firm and fast. During the summer, it tends to get a little dry, making them firmer. Trees are placed in the right spots to add to the challenge...I've been next to most of them. Good variation of easier holes with wide fairways and ones with narrow fairways. Tends to open up after a narrower fairway. Sand traps have sand to hit out of, not packed down hard. Greens roll smoothly, there is some undulation, and the grain comes into play at this course. The bad: Really can't think of any big bad things. People need to fix their divots on the greens. The course is mostly flat, walker friendly. There is a good mix of walkers and cart riders. Pace if play is pretty good. Practice areas: -Driving range - mats only. Lots of stalls. Buy balls at the Pro Shop. Putting green - nice putting green next to tee box on hole 1. - short game area - good size short game area for chipping and pitching. There are a couple of practice bunkers to hit out of. This course has a Pro Shop with some equipment and apparel. From time to time there are some good sales on clothes and shoes, just need to go inside to see. There is a restaurant upstairs, we did not go there so I can't tell much about it. There is also a snake bar downstairs with bar food and adult beverages.

⛳️ Navy-Marine Golf Course – More Like “Meh-vy” Marine Golf 😐 Let’s call it what it is—a solid 2-star experience, max. If you’re expecting a hidden gem or some kind of standout military club dining experience... temper those expectations right now. The golf? Decent. The layout is fine, the greens are playable, but nothing about it screams "must-play." More like “well, it’s here and open.” Now the food? Standard-issue cafeteria fare. You know the drill—lukewarm burgers, soggy fries, and food that tastes like it gave up halfway through cooking. The kind of meal that reminds you you're still on base and not on vacation 😅. Service? Not bad, but not memorable either. Just basic and functional, like everything else designed for a captive military audience with limited options. At least the company I kepty was good, fopr the most part, but typically, military folks tend to act differently when out with their significant others, usually, you see their real colors, like "no color at all, even nasty" / fake folks I like to call them. The guy in the blue blazer sitting across from me was really a winner (weiner), but 75% of the folks were cool. Bottom line: don’t come hungry, and don’t bring high hopes. It gets the job done, but that’s about it. Might be worth a swing if you're already on base and just want to hit a bucket and grab a bite—but otherwise, you're not missing much. Go find a loco moco, you'll be more satisfied.... MTC

It was my first round of golf in Hawaii, and it was a great golf course with fantastic weather and a level of difficulty that wasn't too high. Since we had no golf plans, we rented golf clubs and played with only irons, no woods or hybrids. Despite the pressure, my husband made a hole-in-one on hole 5! This was my husband's 4th hole-in-one, but it was a bigger and more meaningful gift to us. We definitely have a reason to come back here! I highly recommend this golf course.
