Located in the mountain-framed landscape of Whitefish, Montana, this public facility invites golfers of all skill levels to engage with its thoughtfully maintained fairways and strategic design elements. Each course presents a unique experience, with the North Course featuring tighter fairways and tree-lined corridors that demand precision, while the South Course opens into wider spaces with firm, fast greens and bunkers that reward well-placed approach shots.

For visitors, walking is encouraged, with paths that wind smoothly through the terrain, allowing golfers to appreciate the changing scenery between holes. Golf carts are available upon request, though navigating the course on foot is both practical and rewarding. One of the better courses I've played. And, for the price it's well worth it! Great Pro Shop staff. I wish we had time to stick around for food and drinks because the atmosphere at the clubhouse and outdoor bar looked amazing! Looking forward to playing it again when we have more time.

Was at the course late May. Great condition. No trouble getting a tee time but was there before busy season. Played North course 2 days. Kind of tight, some blind shots but very fair. Very scenic and staff is very helpful. So are the members.

Our favorite dining experience in Whitefish! Reservations recommended. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, the food was amazing, and the ambiance was perfection. I recommend the ribeye, salmon, and king crab legs. Every dish was perfectly prepared and very flavorful. Bravo chef! Our table was near the gigantic wood burning fireplace and looked out the windows at the beautiful snow covered grounds. You’re doing it right Whitefish Lake Golf Club! We’ll be back! ***chef’s kiss***

Had the opportunity to play the South Course. What a joy to play! Course is in incredible shape. Greens are firm and fast. Bunkers played like velvet traps. Shout-out to the Greens keepers for keeping the course in such great shape. Hard to believe that it is a Municipal course as it's kept in such great condition. Food options and tap beers are terrific at the cabana bar. Overall, a great outing.

Fourth golf course in three days. We played the North course. It was nice we had a buddy of.mime who is a member, so we were able to get all feedback about each hole. Well maintained course. Lots of trees and tighter fairways made it more challenging than expected. Good pro shop and outstanding snack/bar area outside.
