The course’s design leans into the hilly terrain, which adds strategic elevation changes and demanding shots that test club selection and tempo control. Though modest in length, the layout is crafted to keep the game compelling, making it ideal for beginners, golfers eager to refine their short game, or seasoned players looking for a brisk but thoughtfully constructed round.
Visitors often comment on the consistent care applied to the turf, with greens held in excellent condition even after local rains. The fairways demand precision, while the greens invite careful reading and steady putting. Bunkers and natural features are sparingly used, emphasizing a straightforward, walkable course that rewards thoughtful shot placement over brute power.
The course operates with a straightforward, no-frills approach. The clubhouse and pro-shop occupy a modest facility, focusing attention on the golf experience itself rather than luxury. Golf carts are available but walking is common and encouraged, allowing players to fully engage with the terrain’s natural rises and falls. Practical footwear is recommended due to the rolling hills.
The Links at Lang Farm does not boast ornate signature holes but rather invites golfers to enjoy a steady rhythm of par-3 and par-4 holes that flow into one another seamlessly. Golfers who value a well-kept, accessible course with genuine New England character will find Lang Farm a reliable destination that rewards consistency and encourages repeated visits.

I played here for the first time today and had an incredible experience. The course is very pleasant and well groomed. I did not realize it was a par 60, which for a really bad golfer like myself, made the experience even better. The course didn’t feel intimidating. The Marshall and staff were pleasant. Can’t wait to come back!

I absolutely love playing the Links at Lang Farm! The course is always in excellent condition, providing a consistently great golfing experience. While I wish I could hit more drivers, the layout and design make for a challenging and enjoyable round every time. The staff here are extremely friendly and welcoming, making every visit feel special. I'll definitely keep coming back to play at this fantastic course. Highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

If I was to just rate them on their course...they would have gotten 5 stars. The fairways and greens were super green. Of course with the amount of rain they have been getting 🙄. The carts are older and don't offer some of the amenities that we are used to, like USB charging ports or coolers. The club house/pro-shop is a trailer. These detract from a lovingly maintained course. @MeetMrOwl #BirdLife #OwlsTweet #worldtraveler

Fun course. Fairways are beautiful and greens are in great shape. It's hilly, but challenging enough even for seasoned players.
