Wasatch Mountain Golf Course offers two 18-hole layouts in Midway, Utah, featuring striking mountain terrain and tranquil lakeside scenery. Both courses blend thoughtful design with impeccable conditions, catering to a wide range of golfers seeking challenge and natural beauty.

Course Overview

Wasatch Mountain Golf Course in Midway, Utah, offers two distinct 18-hole courses that showcase the dramatic contrasts of mountain and lakeside landscapes, delivering a memorable round for every golfer. The Mountain Course, carved from rugged terrain, demands precision with its tighter fairways and elevation changes that influence both club selection and strategy. As you navigate through rolling hills and sweeping vistas, the course invites players to engage with the natural contours of the land, where elevation gains present both a physical challenge and vibrant photo opportunities. The Mountain Course’s layout favors those who appreciate thoughtful shot-making, yet remains accessible to mid and higher handicaps, provided they manage the undulating greens and well-placed bunkers that guard scoring opportunities.

The Lake Course, in comparison, stretches across more open ground edged by sparkling water features and a generous presence of wildlife, offering a serene backdrop for players seeking a slightly less demanding but equally scenic experience. Both courses benefit from meticulous maintenance, with consistently lush fairways and smooth putting surfaces that keep pace swift and enjoyable. The approachable design ensures that golfers of all skill levels can find their rhythm while being rewarded with spectacular views at nearly every turn.

Beyond the fairways, the Wasatch Mountain Golf Course facility includes a fully stocked pro shop with knowledgeable staff ready to assist, and the Wasatch Mountain Cafe which combines a relaxed atmosphere with a broad menu, making it an ideal spot to recharge before or after your round. The club’s friendly team emphasizes pace of play and hospitality, elevating the overall experience.

For golfers planning a visit, walking is encouraged to fully appreciate the shifting terrain and sights, with recommended footwear to accommodate elevation shifts and varied footing. Wasatch Mountain Golf Course strikes a balance between challenge and accessibility, framed by some of Utah’s finest scenery, making it a destination course for locals and travelers alike.

Wasatch Mountain is truly one of Northern Utah’s best-kept secrets and well worth the drive from either the Salt Lake or Provo valleys. With two distinct 18-hole courses, each offers its own unique scenery and challenges. The Mountain course, in particular, stands out for its breathtaking views. Course conditions have been consistently pristine during my recent visits, and I’ve never had an issue with pace of play. The staff are warm, welcoming, and helpful, and the pro shop is well-stocked with everything a golfer might need. Special shoutout to the Cafe as it’s a hidden gem on its own right, offering a great selection of food and drinks along with plenty of comfortable seating. If you’re looking for a quiet, scenic, and affordable golf experience, I can’t recommend Wasatch Mountain highly enough!

This is a great course with reasonable prices. Staff is super friendly and the tee times are spread enough that we didn’t have problems with pace of people ahead or behind. The views and landscape are amazing. Grill has good food, too (except for the scones). Love this place.

This golf course in my opinion is one of the most beautiful in the State! The lake course is 18 holes sporting wildlife any given day. The Mountain Course is 18 holes; cut right out of the mountain, it is a little tighter than the lake course but just as beautiful. The staff in the Golf Shop are amazing and so helpful. The Cafe has new Management, and they are doing an awesome job. If you want to have a great day of golf or you just want a great view while having Breakfast or Lunch head up to Wasatch Mountain Golf Course and The Wasatch Mountain Cafe, you won't be disappointed.

Incredible golf course. It’s public and great value sometimes campers will come over and play and really slow down the pace of play but other than that no flaws. Club house is very nice the staff is incredible and the cafe has a nice beer selection. The views are some of the best in state. I prefer the lake course but the mountain one is just as as nice.
